FutureSkin
Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and us for using FutureSkin. The two that matter most: the portraits are a motivational simulation rather than a prediction, and you may only upload a photo of yourself.
1. Who you are agreeing with
FutureSkin is operated by Deepfai (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the app you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
2. What FutureSkin is — and what it is not
FutureSkin scores your skincare routine from a questionnaire, writes you a personalised improvement plan, and — for subscribers — generates two AI-edited portraits suggesting how you might look in ten years: one reflecting your current routine, one reflecting an improved one.
The portraits are illustrative simulations, not predictions. They are produced by a generative model from your answers and a single photo. They are not a forecast of your appearance, and nothing in the app is medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment recommendation. Ageing depends on genetics, health and circumstance that the app knows nothing about. For any skin or health concern, consult a qualified professional. Never disregard medical advice because of something this app showed you.
3. Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 13 to use FutureSkin, and at least 18 to generate future portraits.
- If you tell us you are under 18, the app provides your score and plan only, and will not request a photo.
- You are responsible for the email account used to sign in, since anyone with access to it can request a sign-in code.
- One account per person. Do not share your account.
4. The photo you upload
By uploading a photo you confirm all of the following.
- It is a photo of you. Do not upload images of other people, including friends, family, children, public figures or anyone who has not consented.
- You have the right to use the image, and it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
- It is not unlawful, sexual, hateful, or otherwise abusive content.
You keep all rights in your photo. You grant us a limited licence to process it purely to deliver the service to you — storing it privately, checking its quality, generating your portraits and showing them back to you. That licence ends when you delete the image or your account. We do not use your photo to train models, publish it, or show it to anyone else.
The app applies an automated quality check and will refuse photos with no clear face or with several faces. That check is a cost control, not a guarantee that misuse will be caught.
5. Subscriptions, trial and billing
- The questionnaire, your score and your improvement plan are free, subject to fair-use limits.
- Future portraits require FutureSkin Pro: US$9.99 per month or US$29.99 per year, or the equivalent in your local currency as shown in the app.
- New subscribers get a 3-day free trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, the trial converts automatically into a paid subscription.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending.
- Cancel through the store — App Store subscription settings on iOS, Google Play subscriptions on Android. Settings in the app links you there. Deleting your FutureSkin account does not cancel billing.
- Payment is taken by Apple or Google, not by us. Refunds are handled by them under their policies; we cannot issue them directly.
- Prices may change. We will give notice in advance, and changes never apply to a period already paid for.
6. Fair-use limits
Free accounts may run up to 10 analyses per calendar month. Pro accounts may run up to 30 portrait scans per calendar month. These limits keep generation costs sustainable; we will tell you in the app when you reach one.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- upload images of anyone other than yourself;
- use the app to harass, impersonate, defame or deceive;
- present generated portraits as genuine photographs of a real person at a real time;
- reverse engineer, scrape, or automate access to the service;
- attempt to bypass entitlement checks or usage limits.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.
8. Your content and ours
You own your photos, your answers and the portraits generated for you, and you may keep or delete them freely. Everything else — the app, its design, the scoring model, the prompts and the FutureSkin name — belongs to us and may not be copied or reused without permission.
9. Availability
We aim to keep FutureSkin running but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features depend on third-party AI providers, which may change, degrade or become unavailable. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.
10. Disclaimers
Except where the law says otherwise, FutureSkin is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that generated portraits will resemble you, that the analysis will suit your circumstances, or that following the plan will produce any particular result.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, nor for any decision you take about your health, appearance or spending based on the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or US$50. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Consumers keep all statutory rights.
12. Ending the agreement
You may stop at any time by deleting your account in Settings — remembering to cancel billing through the store separately. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive — content rights, disclaimers, liability — do.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest revision, and we will tell you in the app before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use FutureSkin after that means you accept the new version.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction — save that if you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring proceedings there.
